You’ve got to be kidding me? This is like Marjorie Greene comparing the vaccination cards to the Yellow star that Jews had to wear during the holocaust. It’s not the same thing people! No one is depriving people who have not been vaccinated of their housing or their ability to do their jobs if they are working remotely or their basic rights. 911 will still visit their house if they call, They still cannot be discriminated against on race or gender or age- they have all the other rights of a normal human. People who are not vaccinated are just being asked to not mix with the general population in close proximity. For obvious scientific reasons- If someone who is not vaccinated could still have the virus then obviously that person needs to be isolated.

Would you be saying the same thing if this was Ebola or the smallpox? It’s because it’s not as obviously deadly that this had become a ludicrous political issue. Trump dropped the ball on this and to cover up he continued to pretend that Covid wasn’t a big deal. All of his gullible followers swallowed his brainwashing hook, line, and sinker.

I do agree with the author of the article on one point- Yes the Handmaids tale Looks more and more possible but that’s after watching Trump and his followers make a mockery of common sense and decency. He and his followers brought back hate and witch hunts and lies and ignorance. A lot of us are shocked because I think we had more respect for the IQ of our fellow countrymen. That false belief has been shattered to pieces in the past few years. When intelligent lawyers who are also good writers can still spout such nonsense than I despair for humanity.

I don’t even know why am bothering to respond to this - the self indignant vultures will pick on every word I said and argue senselessly. Writing this response is a big waste of my time, You’re right the handmaid’s tale will come true because many of us just give up after while in the face of lunacy.
